ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:

The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks were defeated by Washington 55-7 in their week two matchup.

Mid-Prairie held close with the Demons and trailed just 21-7 at half time. Golden Hawks quarterback Karson Gingerich was injured in the first half and did not play the second half.

Mid-Prairie starting runningback Keaton Duwa was also banged up on the night. With other injuries piling up depth became an issue and Washington piled on the points in the second half.

Gingerich scored the lone touchdown for Mid-Prairie on a one-yard quarterback sneak in the first half.
