Cookie walk and craft sale at Asbury UMC Dec. 8
Asbury United Methodist Church, 601 Eighth St. in Wellman, will host a cookie walk and craft sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8.
There will be make-it-and-take-it projects for the kids.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Acoustic Christmas program at Sharon Center UMC Dec. 9
Sharon Center United Methodist Church will host The Great Bluegrass Herons and Friends Acoustic Christmas Program at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9.
Scheduled to perform are The Great Bluegrass Herons; Banjoy; Barb Shultz; Castle Ridge; and Atlee, Carolyn and Allison Yoder.
The church is located at 2804 520th St., between Kalona and Iowa City.
Christian music concert at Iowa Mennonite School Dec. 9
The Hope For All Seasons Tour, featuring Citizen Way and Chris August, will make a stop at Iowa Mennonite School on Sunday, Dec. 9.

Wellman Community Vesper Program Dec. 9
Wellman Baptist Church, 600 Fourth St., will host the Wellman Community Vesper Program at 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9.
Each church in Wellman is invited to share their musical talents, along with both Mid-Prairie High School and the Iowa Mennonite High School students, whether using vocal or instrumental music.
A highlight of the program is always the wonderful harmonies as all voices join together in singing the traditional carols.
