Seth Danga broke a 1-1 tie, kicking Cole Ours’ crossing pass into the goal 13 minutes into Iowa Mennonite’s game with Wapello on Monday, April 24. Danga added two more goals in the second half as IMS won the game 7-1, improving to 5-2 for the season.

Ours scored or assisted on the first six goals of the game for IMS. He gave his team a 1-0 lead with an unassisted effort five minutes into the game.

IMS tops Mepo

After 42 minutes of scoreless play, Iowa Mennonite found the net on a direct kick from Anthony Villatoro. IMS added three more second-half goals, including two from Isaiah Swantz, in a 4-0 victory at Mediapolis on Thursday, April 20.

It was the second shutout of the season for IMS, who played down one defensive starter due to an illness.
