1930 - 2017

Annabelle Jane Baker, 87, from Kenansville, Fla., passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, Oct.15, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospice Care. A celebration of life will be held Nov. 11, 2017 at First Missionary Baptist Church, Kenansville, Fla. Please refrain from wearing colors of mourning, as this is a celebration of life, and Jane loved bright colors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice Care.

Jane was born on Oct. 15, 1930 in Rockford, Ohio to Samuel and Lela Clutter. She graduated from Rockford High School. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Jake Baker. They lived a life of marital bliss for 69 years. Together they raised three sons and lived in Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Colorado, and Missouri until they retired and settled in Kenansville, Fla. She worked most of her life as an office manager. After retirement she spent time with family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, volunteered for the Council on Aging, loved to play bingo, go to garage sales, and loved going on walks around her neighborhood.

Jane is survived by sister: June; brother: Raymond; husband: Jake, sons: Todd and wife Martha, Sam and wife Carrol, Daryl and wife Cheri; five grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding Jane in death were her parents: Samuel and Lela Clutter; and siblings: Mary Ellen Price, Albert Clutter, Dale Clutter, Franklin Clutter, and Wayne Clutter.
