Derik Nelson and Family will bring their spectacular concert to Washington on Saturday, April 21, at the Washington Community Center at 7:30 p.m., sponsored by the Washington Concert Association.

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Derik Nelson and Family’s signature sound features velvety three-part vocal harmonies only a family can deliver.

Siblings Derik, Riana and Dalten have been performing together since childhood. They’ve garnered more than three million views on YouTube and toured more than 40 locations across the West Coast to raise money for music education.

Derik has appeared regularly as the lead guitarist on TV’s “Glee” and among other shows such as “The Voice.”

The group delivers a concert experience, featuring pristine sound, a state-of-the-art light show and an integrated 20-foot video display. This innovative technical marvel uses the latest in audio-video technology to take audiences on an aural and visual journey through time, space, an impressive array of landscapes, weather conditions, and musical settings.

High school students and younger are admitted free. This concert is free for first-time season members with new 2018-19 season membership.

The Washington Concert Association’s five new season concerts are Holy Rocky Rollaz, a late 50’s group; University of Iowa Piano Celebration; Ivory and Gold, a piano, flute, vocal cconcert; Todd Oliver: Funniest Night of Your Life, a ventriloquist with his talking dog; and Sons of Serendip with tenor, harp, cello and keyboard.

The latter two appeared on “America’s Got Talent.”
