Shiloh press release

The Independence Day Celebration at the Shiloh Amphitheater is Scheduled for Monday, July 3.

This year will be the farewell performance of the “Fireworks Spectacular” show – which has been made possible by the crew from Los Angeles working together with the Richmond Shooters.

After a great run, it’s time to move on to a different show. Every year, the show costs an estimated $75,000 with the gear brought from Los Angeles, the fireworks run by the Richmond Shooters, and travel expenses for cast and crew (which are mostly volunteers).

Next year, fireworks will return to the amphitheater in a new show designed by and for the local Kalona and Shiloh communities.

This year’s show will include thrilling close-proximity fireworks – make sure to get seats on the benches or grass areas for the best viewing. Come early to enjoy activities including face painting, balloon animals, local food vendors, and of course the live music and bands!
