The Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce, with the help of students from the Lone Tree School and other members of the community, will be doing a “Fill the Pantry Drive” Sunday afternoon, Oct. 22, 2017.

The Chamber is requesting that food donations be non-perishable items and that they be in a bag and placed on the front porch or doorstep. Volunteers will be picking up these donations beginning at 4:30 p.m.

All donations will be going to Lone Tree’s Food Pantry, which is located in the United Presbyterian Church at the corner of Elm and Huskins. The Pantry is co-sponsored by St. Mary Catholic and the United Presbyterian churches, and has been serving the community since the mid 1990s. The Pantry is open to residents of Lone Tree and families of students enrolled in the Lone Tree School. Its hours are 9 a.m.-Noon Monday through Thursday. For information about the Pantry call 319-629-4900.
