Why are you running for school board?
I have five grandchildren in our school district and want to help make decisions that make it the best possible school for children that live in our district.
What do you think qualifies you to serve on the school board?
I have nine years experience as a school board member. I’ve been very involved in the school.
I was previously employed as a custodian/groundskeeper for five years, coached wrestling for over 20 years and have been involved in numerous committees and projects over the past 35 years.
I feel through all of these experiences I have a very good understanding of the Mid-Prairie CSD.
I also worked as a financial advisor for five years, in addition to owning my own construction/development business.
What do you hope to accomplish on the board?
I don’t have a personal agenda other then to provide our students with the best school possible where they can learn in a safe environment.
What would you say to an undecided voter to convince them to vote for you?
I am not an expert on education. I do think Mid-Prairie has some of the best administration and staff in the state, and THEY are the experts that work with our children.
I look at every issue with an open mind and ask questions and opinions from the experts to make the best decisions possible for our students.
